Jorden DeGaetano
is a photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles who has spent the last 20 years fascinated by balance, detail, and a perpetual state of nostalgia. At the age of 5, he started flying alone between Seattle and LA to split time between his parents. This unique perspective from such a young age shaped him as a human and as an artist. From the crystal blue water along the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica, listening to Sheryl Crow, the Spice Girls and 90s house music, to the monotonous gloom of Seattle, heavily influenced by grunge artists Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden, he has continued to draw from these two polar opposites to create art that feels organic, uncontrived, carefree yet contemplative. While often romanticizing Americana through his art, his desire is to create imagery that moves the needle on modern representation.
Jorden’s mastery is beyond powerful images—its connecting to people from all walks of life in a deeply emotional way, understanding that telling a story is one of our greatest legacies.
He works in collaboration with designers, agencies, boutique hotels, celebrities, media, wedding planners, restaurateurs, and architects.
